- He is getting calls from around the world, asking about Isa, a character name in the series who is a mafia.
- Netflix removed the number from the series and made an apology.
In the first episode of SACRED GAMES 2, a phone number is being shown of gangster Suleman Isa is actually a number of Kanhdulla who belongs to Kerela, India. The number also features in sub-titles.
Kanhdulla, 37 year old man who works in an oil company in Sharjah, U.A.E said in an interview to gulf news “ I am getting anonymous phone calls from India, Pakistan, UAE and around the world from past three days. I have no idea why i am getting calls asking about Isa. I am very disturbed and want to cancel my number as soon as possible.
He asked “What is Sacred Games?, Is it a video game? I work for 9 hours each day and do not have time for other things. On Sunday i got 30 calls and 5 calls from past one hour. People are asking about Isa. I have nothing to do with Isa, why people are asking about him?
After gulf news reported for this, On monday Netflix and the makers have made an apology and removed the number from the series.
